My 9-week-old puppy sits constantly. Should I check her hips?

My new puppy sits all the time, like sitting is more comfortable. She is 9weeks old pit mix found on the streets. She will hope and jump, play tug of war. I just never seen a pup do this...sits so much to watch or wait, I just want to make sure her hips are good. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | 10 lbs

Your best option is to keep up with routine physical exams. It's impossible to know at this point if this is behavioral or if there is a medical condition. Hip problems may not become evident until she is older but getting her and your vet use to the feel of her hip palpation would be a good idea. She may need radiographs when she is older.
