My dog's nose has a scab or hole after grooming. Should I worry?

Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | spayed | 4 years and 5 months old | 15 lbs

Hello sorry to bother you but i wanted to remove dirt from my dog's nose and I found out that it was something attached to my dog afterwards, she's a shih tzu and went to the groom yesterday, maybe it has to do with her nails being to 'sharp/raw' ? So maybe a scab? But the hole kjnd of worries me (a lot)

It is difficult to tell from the pictures, but what you are describing on Cookie's nose can be due to a variety of reasons, including a scab, crusted nasal discharge, a cyst, a small growth, or another underlying issue. If you are concerned or the area does not improve, I would recommend having it evaluated by her regular veterinarian. Good luck!
