I have a 4 month old chihuahua mixed with a terrier, what food should we be giving him? we bought WholeHearted Grain Free Chicken and Pea Recipe Dry Puppy Food but a friend told me that grain free food is bad for dogs. Is there a specific one that we should be doing and how much of it? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 3 months and 29 days old

In general, grain free food is not recommended due to a potential link with heart disease. I recommend to feed a brand like Royal Canin Chihuahua Puppy (it's ok that he is a mixed breed) or their regular small breed puppy formula. Purina ProPlan also carries small breed puppy diets.
