My dog has diarrhea. What are home remedies if I can't afford a vet?

My 2 year old German Shepard just started getting dirraha the night before last and has gone on the carpet in home. And did it again last night. Not sure what is causing it and I’m worried. And I don’t have the money to go to a vet in person right now. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | spayed | 3 years and 2 months old
