Dog stung by bee, has swollen eye and hives. How to afford vet care?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Female | spayed | 8 years and 8 months old | 50 lbs

My dog was chasing bees and wasps as she chases all bugs like a guard dog and when she came in she looked fine later I noticed her eye was swollen like huge and so I gave her Benadryl as it was like she got bit. It all seemed great until she then broke out in million hives next night and barley slept and again tonight there showing up , I looked in her ears and there flat but red dots. I can’t afford 500 bucks right now sighs no one bills or works with ppl anymore idk wat to do

Ophelia really does have to see a vet now, and I will put some links below to financial resources that may help out. Check them out, and I'd also see if you can borrow money from family and friends to see the vet. Best of luck. http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/resources/tips/trouble_affording_veterinary_care.html?credit=web http://canada.creditcards.com/credit-card-news/pet-financing-options-1264/ http://lessonsfromaparalyzeddog.com/when-pet-owners-cant-afford-veterinary-bills/
