Could my new 9-year-old dog be pregnant? Swollen, leaking nipples.

I got this new dog and i think she may be pregnant and the reason why her owners were giving her away. I noticed her nipples were a little swollen and as i was rubbing then i noticed a liquid was coming out, from what i know shes 9 years old. Im unsure of what to do as i had only a male cat this is my first dog. Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Female | unspayed | 9 years and 6 months old

You can take her to the vet. They can do a physical exam, and maybe ultrasound or x-rays to help you determine if she is pregnant. Also, she may have been recently pregnant but weaned the puppies (milk could still be present) or there could be an infection.
