Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 1 year and 4 months old | 45 lbs

I had recently gotten a 12 week old pit and she didn’t have shots a i just took her to get first round a week ago and i already have a year and a half pit and they love playing it’s just that the puppy loves to bite my grown dogs neck and legs and face and she leaves marks behind and those marks kind of turned into spots i gave her a oatmeal shampoo bath last night but it looks the same i’m just trying to figure out what is is and what can i use to make it go away

Some of these spots appear to just be healing scratches. Some of the more round once look like there may be a mild bacterial infection. I would recommend getting a medicated dog shampoo that is antibacterial and bathing Zoey twice a week. If it doesn't look better in a week, she should get checked out by a vet.
