My food-sensitive cat has facial sores. Is it an ear infection?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 25 lbs

I found sores on her face. I'm worried. She does not get treats or mixed food of any kind because she is food sensitive. I've had her 5 years and never seen this before.

I understand being worried about Tilly. I see the sores are near her ears, and she could be scratching her ear a lot. This can be a sign of an ear infection. I'd have her checked out by a vet today or tomorrow.
