My ball python has worms from a frozen rat. What should I do?

Pet's info: Reptile | Python | Male | unneutered | 1 year old | 1lb

I found little white worms on my ball python from a frozen rat that he didn't take( didnt know at the time) I was wondering if I should wash his mouth with warm water or leave it alone

Thanks for reaching out about Sakura. Were to worms alive? The freezing process of the rat should have killed worms also. If the worms were dead, then died in freezing but poor quality of prey. If still see worms, a veterinary visit is recommended. A warm water soak and gentle wash could help. Good luck.
