My cat is scratching from dry skin. What else can I do to help?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 2 years and 1 month old | 2.65 lbs

My 2 yr old male(neutered) has been scratching I think he may have dry skin (no fleas) I put olive oil on his food(dry) what else can I do for Boots ?

Poor Boots! I would try some Benadryl twice a day to see if this helps. If it doesn't, I would have your vet take a look at him to ensure nothing else is going on causing the scratching like mites, bacterial infection, yeast infection, etc. I hope this helps!
