This looks like a histiocytoma. If it is one, it will likely go away on it's own (see the article attached). That being said, it is always best to have any bumps/lumps on your dog checked out by your vet. ( https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4952066 )

I would have Milo seen by a vet to confirm that he does have a histiocytoma. If he does have one, then I would wait to see if it goes away. They typically spontaneous regress within three months. Should three months pass and it's still there, then I would discuss with your vet having it removed.

This appears to be a histiocytoma tumor. It is not an emergency. Just get her to your vet for an exam in the next week or so. Here is a link to an article about these tumors: ( https://www.vin.com/veterinarypartner/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4952066 ) Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Hello. If the lesion is a histiocytoma, it will regress & disappear on its own, often in 1-3 months. You can use the Vetericyn 2-3 times daily, but stop if it causes any undue irritation, or causes Minnie to lick the tumor. Any changes or accelerated growth to the tumor should be checked out by your vet as soon as possible. Otherwise, you can just watch things for now.
