After some research I have found that you can buy Ivermectin. It is very EASY to overdose so please be careful dosing your dog. It is dosed by weight. Follow the label instructions carefully and repeat every 14 days until one month after all the mange is gone. It is strongly recommended that you work with your vet on using this product. There is no over the counter medication or home remedy to treat mange. You have to get medicine from your vet. It is not a quick fix. It takes months of treatment to rid mange. The least expensive medication is called Ivermectin. Again, you have to get it from your vet. If you have already given Ivermectin at the appropriate dosage and for the correct amount of time and he has not gotten better than mange may not be the correct diagnosis.
