Seresto collar failed for dog fleas. What are the best alternatives?

I recently bought the seresto collar for my dog and it doesn't seem to be working. There are just as many fleas on him. He has been wearing the collar now for about 6 days. Any tecommendsrions. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | neutered | 2 years old | 20 lbs
