Why is my new parakeet tail bobbing? Is it stress or a health issue?

Hi I just got a parakeet he is slightly bobbing his tail I know this is a symptom of a respiratory infection but I'm wondering if it could just be stress since I just brought him home today his poop seems to be normal he has not eaten yet but like I said I just brought him home. Pet's info: Bird | Parakeet | Male | unneutered

Thanks for reaching out about Flint. Typically stress can cause rapid breathing but does not result in tail bobbing. Tail bobbing is due to difficulty breathing as in a large abdominal organ (liver, spleen), abdominal fluid or other problem. If continues, a veterinary visit is recommended. Good luck.
