I'm getting an 8 week puppy that has been weaned onto a raw food diet. I have a disabled child and don't want raw meat in our house, the dog will be eating on our kitchen/dining floor where my daughter with complex health needs plays. I've found a really high quality food with high meat content and the exact same ingredients as the raw but it's cooked, would it be dangerous to do a straight switch? I can live with a bit of diarrhoea but don't want to make my puppy ill Thanks

I agree with you. A raw diet is not a good idea. You should be able to switch straight over to the cooked diet. It may give her some diarrhea as you indicated. If that happens the diarrhea should be self-limiting and go away on it's own in a few days.
