First off, I'm so sorry that Meekah passed away. Please accept my condolences for your loss. It's hard on a pet when their companion passes away, and it can take some time for the grieving to pass. It will pass quicker for Corndog than for you, but he should not give very long. During this time, give him lots of extra love and attention to support him, and when you feel ready, maybe adding another cat to your family will help you all. Only do this if and when you are ready. I hope this helps!

    I am so sorry you lost your kitty. Your question was cut off, so I am not sure what you would like us to help you with. I am assuming Corndog misses your kitty and is looking for her and sad. Unfortunately there is no remedy for that other than time. Maybe you can get another kitten for him after a little time has passed. If you have another question, please feel free to ask again.

Thank you for the update. I am so sorry about your baby girl. The grief process can vary between dogs. It could be days or it could be months. What you are doing so far with Haden is great. Basically, continue with your daily routine so the rest of his life doesn't change. Dogs can also sense our grief so his sadness may improve when yours does. Again, it all takes time. I'm very sorry that you had to say goodbye to your cat! There will be a period of adjustment for them, and it can take a few weeks for that to happen, but they are already showing signs of adjust if his sister is not as shy as before. You are doing the right things by talking to them more and showing them tons of affection. Again, I'm sorry for your loss :-(

I am so very sorry you have to say goodbye to KJ. Some cats do grieve when their companions pass on. Make sure he keeps eating, give him lots of love and attention, playing with him frequently. Thank you for using Boop by Petco. I'm sorry for the loss of your cat, and it sounds like Brostom is taking it pretty hard. Our pets experience grief and loss, and just like people, it takes them a variable amount of time to deal with that loss. If Brostom was very close with the other cat, he might benefit from having another cat in the home to keep him company. If you decide to pursue this, I recommend a slow introduction and keeping the new cat in a separate room for a few days where they can smell each other under the door. If this increases Brostom's agitation, then it might not work, but I think it would be worth trying. I hope this helps.

I'm so sorry for your loss! Pets grieve, just as we do. Try to keep your dog's daily routine as normal as possible, while giving your dog some extra attention and exercise as a distraction. Ultimately, grief takes time to process for our four legged friends, just as it does for us.

My other cat just died on the 20th. He died probably of an urinary obstruction. Theo was wandering around hopeful, meowing every now and then and sniffing everywhere, looking for his friend. I just decided today to hand him the blanket Furby died on.
Oh this is so sad and difficult! I am so sorry for your loss of Furby. It is never easy to lose a part of the family and I am sure Theo is grieving as well. You made the right choice by giving him the blanket that Furby passed away on. Give Theo some time as he will start improving over time. Just make sure he is continuing to eat and drink. It sounds like Ginger may be grieving the loss of her companion, and when you feel ready, it's fine to get another dog. I would wait until you are ready to welcome another dog into the home, and there's no time limit on that. Whenever you feel comfortable. I hope this helps!

I am so sorry to hear this! It is always sad to lose a 4 legged family members but it is also heart breaking to watch their house mates suffer the same grievance. I would make sure to give your dog plenty of extra TLC and spend extra time with him when you can. I would also consider put a calming collar on him like adaptil to help calm him while you are away. There are also calming chews you could try like composure or the prescription version composure pro. At the end of the day, it is going to take time for him to grieve just like us. Unfortunately, some do not completely heal until they have a new companion to be with. I hope this helps and please know you are in my thoughts.
