My guinea pig has white snot and a clogged nose. What should I do?

My guinea pig has white snot coming from his nose and It sounds clogged sometimes. Any advice? He just got done taking his bath.

He is gorgeous! White stuff from the boss sounds like nadal discharge which is usually due to an upper respiratory infection or foreign material . I recommend taking him to the vet to confirm this. T is best to get such things treated quickly before they start to move down onto the lungs. Treatment will likely be oral antibiotics.

    Two main causes of this can be allergies (too much dust in the bedding or room, etc) or respiratory issues (respiratory infections, irritation in the nose, etc). If the discharge is clear, making sure that Dec's bedding is dust-free and his environment is kept clean can help. If the discharge is greenish or yellow, this could indicate an issue such as an infection that should be treated by your vet. You can also use a warm washcloth to remove any of the discharge to help him feel more comfortable until you can get to a vet.
