My puppy ate salami, now vomiting and won't drink. Is he okay?

My boyfriend gave our puppy a little bit of hard salami. Our puppy shadow has been throwing up alot since and lying about to. Is it bad for him? What can I do? He won't eat anything but grass and he also won't drink water. Pet's info: Dog | Catahoula Leopard Dog | Male | neutered | 2 years and 4 months old | 60 lbs

Yes salami is not good for dogs. withhold food for 12 hours then offer him boiled boneless chicken and rice every 6 hours in small portions. if he is eating and not vomiting, continue with this diet for 2 days. After 2 days, you can put him back gradually on his normal food. If he continues vomiting or is not eating, take him to the vet to get treatment.
