Will secondhand smoke near the kitchen hood hurt my dog's health?

If i smoke just beside the kitchen hood, does it hurt my dog?? About 4 to 5 times a day,, not leaving the smoke in the living room or any other places in the house, just beside the hood. Pet's info: Dog | Chow Chow | Male | unneutered | 11 months and 9 days old | 44 lbs

The smoke can travel throughout the house even if you smoke beside the kitchen hood, and there is the potential Heisenberg can come into the kitchen while you are smoking and get exposure there. Cigarette smoke isn't good for dogs, so to be safe, I'd recommend smoking only outside. Best of luck!
