Invictus has a swollen spot on the tip of his ear, I think it is from a bite during play. It is on both sides, heavily scabbed, and a little tender, but not infected. We have been dipping in hydrogen peroxide to help keep it clean while it heals. It is now dry and a little cracked from peroxide, but blood is still circulating fine beneath the surface. Will it continue to heal on its own? What else can we do for it? The other pups don't mess with it and Invictus doesn't seem to mind it.

Hello. It looks like some of the other pups have been chewing on the ear. It will definitely continue to heal on its own & the swelling will go down. To combat the dry cracked skin, you can rub a little aloe vera onto the ear tip, but watch to make sure more puppy teeth do not continue to go after the ear. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
