Pet's info: Dog | Tibetan Terrier | Female | spayed | 5 years and 7 months old | 16 lbs
My dog was diagnosed last year with lymphoma. Her White blood cells were low , was anemic, and was febrile. She was so ill she seemed like she was dying. She had difficulty standing, and she had small lymph nodes in her neck and legs which can only be felt but not seen. On ultrasound she had hepatosplenomegaly and cardiomegaly. She's been on prednisone 5 mg that's the only thing that keeps her stable with a good functional status. When I taper she gets tired.. could this be a different diagnosis

Everything points to Lymphoma unfortunately, Prednisone can do wonder as far as symptoms goes for up to 2 years in some cases but i do not think there is a reason to suspect that it might be something else.
