Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 7.5 lbs
My male cat has a UTI and is currently receiving amoxiclav antibiotic as a treatment. My friend wants to send me her cat so they would mate. Question is, could the infection be transmited to the female cat? Another question. I've read that apple vinegar could be helpful in treating a UTI. Is that correct?

Until your tom is healthy it is not a good idea to have him mate with a female. He could indeed infect her. Apple cider vinegar is not helpful in treating a cat's UTI. Cat urine is already acidic, so the bacteria infecting the bladder are very used to and happy in an acidic environment. So feeding vinegar which is acidic, will not impress those bacteria. Stick with your veterinarian's recommendation and prescription for Farafero's UTI.
