Is it safe to give my cat Pepto Bismol for an upset stomach?

Thank you for submitting your question. I do not recommend giving Pepto Bismol to a cat. It contains an aspirin type compound that they have difficulty metabolizing. It is best to determine the underlying cause of the GI upset and treat that specifically. I hope that helps!

    I am sorry but it is not safe to give cats. There are no medicines safe over the counter for cats but thrrr are diet changes or things you can add to the diet if there are GI problems. Please post again with symptoms and what is going on so we can better advise your options
