Hello. We have a 9 week male Morkie named Grits. We are trying to potty pad training and crate training. We let him out every 2 hours and let him do his business. Then we play with him for a bit, then back to the crate. Our question is, can we move the crate upstairs with us when we go to bed? The wife would really like for him to sleep in bed with us,but not until he is potty trained

Congratulations on your new puppy! I love his name! I see no problem with moving his crate to your room when you go to bed as long as he is remaining in the crate when he sleeps to avoid accidents. It sounds like you are on the right track with potty training. If you need any additional advice on potty training I would refer to the method used by veterinary behaviorist Sophia Yin. There is a free downloadable book describing this on her website https://drsophiayin.com/blog/entry/a_foolproof_potty-training_plan/
