Why is my male dog bleeding from his penis after neutering?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 6 years and 11 months old | 62 lbs

My male dog is bleeding severely from his pennis..he had an operation..both his testis were cut out..still the bleeding hasnt stopped..what should i do?

Since he has been bleeding and it has not stopped yet, you need to take him to a vet (out of hours vet). This could be from the surgery, however it is more likely that he has a prostate or bladder problem. Please check his gums and if they are white he needs a vet right away. This is an emergency.

    I would recomend a vet visit asap if he has bleeding when urinating or dripping blood at all. This may be due to the infection at surgery site or potentially a problem with bladder or kidneys. I hope Tua is better quickly.
