Kitten vaccine schedule: When is the second dose and what else?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Turkish Angora | Male | unneutered | 4 lbs

Hello. I'm non-American so excuse me for my writing style. My kitten, Turkish Angora, is approximately 6 moths old. We vaccinated him with Felocell-4. Our vet said that the the kitten was to get the second dose of the vaccine in 2-3 weeks. But in the instruction it is written that 3-4 weeks have to pass before revaccination. What should I do? And should I vaccinate the cat against anything more than only these illnesses Felocell-4 makes him stable to? Thank you in advance.

I would probably do the booster in 3 weeks. That is pretty standard booster timing. I would ask your vet whether or not rabies and feline leukemia are recommended vaccines for your area. Those are the only other vaccines that I would consider if needed in your area.
