My dog was in a fight. Does he need a vet if he's vaccinated?

My dog got into a fight last evening protecting his ball from a bigger dog. The bigger dog ended up with a bitten ear, the owner refused my aid in getting him checked. However should I visit a vet for any complications in my dog? My dog got all his shots last months (rabies, lepto, heartworm, parvo etc)

If your dog has a few scrapes or abrasions then you do not really need to see a vet. Since her vaccinations are up to date, he should be well protected. Check him over thoroughly for puncture wounds and bruises and if he appears painful, it is advisable to take him to the vet,
