My cat loves sunbathing by the window. Is it safe or harmful?

Is it bad to let cat sunbathe? My cat likes to sit by the window and soak in the sun. Could this harmful for her?

No, it's not likely to be harmful for your cat, it's mainly an issue for white cats but your cat is mainly black, especially on the areas that are exposed to the sun so i would not be worried about it.

    Thanks for visiting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. No the sun is ok for her to be exposed to on a daily basis. Cats are not fully domesticated animals, which means they can survive in the wild. The sun is not harmful to them. Take care!
