Is it safe to give my sick rabbit multiple medications at once?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 3 months old | 5 lbs

Hi my rabbit is sick and I shown it to two vets and they had given medicine dufalac dygene and 1st one colicaid perinom but 2nd one again told me to give all 4 medicine to rabbit is it safe will it not be medicine oversose

I wouldn't want to contradict your veterinarian, because that only leads to confusion. I can only say to use caution when giving any medications together. Dufalac (Duphalac) will help with constipation. Perinorm increases gastric motility. Giving these two together may cause diarrhea in Hunny which could lead to rapid dehydration. Colicaid is for gas in the stomach and Digene is an antacid. These two can likely be used together. My recommendation would be to find one veterinarian with experience treating rabbits and stick with him or her. In the meantime, choose one of the two and discuss ALL the medications and doses that Hunny is on to come up with a safe treatment plan to ensure the best possible outcome.
