Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. With Nola being so young it is possible that she has a skin parasite or skin infection that needs treatment. I would recommend having a veterinarian examine her so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. She may need an anti-parasite medication or antibiotic for treatment. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

It depends on the cause of the fur loss. She could have ringworm, mites, flea allergy dermatitis, skin infection, etc. She needs to be examined by a vet to determine the cause and treat. Your vet can do a skin scrape, culture, or cytology to help diagnose and then prescribe medications to help treat the fur loss. You could also try to bathe her with a medicated shampoo, like DOUXO® Calm Shampoo and see if that helps.
