My pugs ate a chicken salad sandwich. Will onions make them sick?

My two 5 year old pugs got a hold of my chicken salad -cranberry & almond sandwich . I don't really know if it has onions in it ! They're trouble makers for sure ! I'm kinda freaking out ,.. Will they be okay ?? I don't know how much they ate but the whole sandwich is gone ! Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | spayed | 5 years and 7 months old

A small amount of onions are fine. There is no reason to worry. I’m sure they enjoyed it!. Dogs are scavengers by nature so they can eat lots of things they shouldn’t without getting sick. You may see loose stool, possibly vomiting but probably no symptoms. If you do see them appearing I’ll the. I,would bring them in for an exam.
