Can PetSmart trim guinea pig nails? I'm worried about hurting them.

Would my local pet store (PetSmart) be able to clip my guinea pigs nails? I know that they have grooming services for cats and dogs. I am worried that if I try myself, I will injure them.

I think the best way to find out whether your local PetSmart can clip your guinea pig's nails is to call them and ask. However you can also go to your vet and have the techs show you how it is done properly.

Yes, however, it will require extreme caution. The bigger size of the dog nail clippers will make it harder to judge where the cut is occurring.
