Why does my purebred Yorkie have an undercoat if they shouldn't?

Yorkies are only suppose to have one coat but my dog seems to have an undercoat. She’s purebred. Its not a big deal but i’m just kind of confused. Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | spayed | 1 year and 5 months old | 5.5 lbs

That can be normal for some Yorkies and other terriers like my cairn terrier. They often have a coarser haired outer layer and a softer undercoat. Dogs that are clipped down completely can lose the coarse outer layer. I’m sure this is just a variation and that you have a purebred Yorkie.
