Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 5 months and 27 days old | 79 lbs
So Hercules has been doing in the litter box and has been sneezing a lot or something and his nose has been runny I just thought he had a cold or something but then today I noticed that he has cat litter that appears to be stuck in his nose what should I do??

The first thing you should do is to consider a covered litter box for your cat. Depending on Hercules’ size this will hopefully prevent him from accessing the litter box while still allowing your cat to use it. With regard to the littler in his nose, if you are unable to easily see and remove it, I would recommend taking him to the veterinarian who will be able to use a scope and alligator forceps to remove any chunks of litter as well as make recommendations regarding the sneezing and nasal discharge or possible inflammation in the nostrils. You may want to take a warm wet wash cloth and start soaking the litter off if his nose. It may take several attempts as kittens do not like to hold still for long. Best of luck and I hope it works! Thank you for using Pet Coach.
