Kitten bitten: swollen, oozing leg. What should I do to save it?

I've a kitten in the garden that has been bitten on a leg by a cat in a brawl. It has developed an abscess and that's oozing continuously and the leg has swelled up too. Will it survive or do I need to do something to save it's life ? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female

Hi, thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. The kitten needs medication, I recommend taking it to a veterinarian as it sounds like it needs antibiotics and possibly pain medication as well. Do not give any human medications as many are toxic to cats. Depending on exam findings, the vet may recommend xrays as well if they suspect significant trauma to the leg.
