Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 45 lbs
This is on my new dogs nose spreading for a few days now. Been crate training and he's been able to break out. Could possibly be something from the metal on the crate?

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It looks as though Dexter may have a skin allergy or infection in this area. I would recommend cleaning the area using a mixture of betadine and water (mix until you have a light brown color) and cleanse the area twice daily. In addition, you can use a product such as Malacetic Conditioning Spray, which can be found online quite easily and apply to the area twice daily until resolved. If it worsens or persists, I would recommend having this looked at by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
