My cat is slowly responding to meds. Could it be FIP or mycoplasma?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 7 months and 24 days old | 5.5 lbs

My cat responds slowly to oxytotricyclin and fluids of course does this mean she has FIP ?the vet suggested fip or mycoplasma and he doesnt want to do the tests right now , what do you think?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Lolo! I don't think we can tell based on response to medications. Especially if it is a slow response. If she has FIP they can have good and bad days. I would ask for testing so you know. FIP has a poor prognosis and you should know as best as you can if that is what she has so you do not put her through too much. Also if you want to repost with more specifics on Lolo's symptoms I may be able to help better.
