My dog had a second seizure. Diet change or what else can I do?

My dog had a seizure today.it was 2 ND time.earlier he had this 1.5 month back.please tell me should I change his diet? Or anything I can help him with

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. Diet likely will not change the frequencies of seizures or prevent them. There is likely something else going on. I would recommend having him examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. This may be idiopathic epilepsy, in which a cause is not identified. I would at least test his blood to make sure there are no systemic abnormalities causing the seizures. If blood testing is normal, then monitoring the seizures for now is what I would recommend. If they become longer in duration and more frequent, this would warrant putting Rhino on anti seizure medications. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction.
