My 9-month-old dog has cauliflower growths. Are they serious?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 9 months and 1 day old | 50 lbs

My 9 month old American Staffordshire terrier has multiple growths which, were called cauliflower growths when I got him fixed last month. He has one on his "back", the inner part of his back leg, and two small ones on the inside of his front leg. Should I be concerned about this?

These look like warts and tend to resolve over time. They should be removed for biopsy examination if not shrinking over 3mths or so. These can be caused by a virus and he may be infectious to other dogs
