Rat won't take liquid Metacam. Can I mix it with juice or ketchup?

Question

My rat got a pain killed it is liquid. It is called metacam. And he will not take it. We have hard it for 3 days and he has not really taken it we have try hold him and getting it in his mouth and on food but I don't like he is getting even a quarter of what he needs. I wondering if I could mix it will a liquid like plain ketchup or fruit juice so he will talk it. Pet's info: Small Animal | Rat | Male | unneutered | 6 months old

Hello. Yes, if you think you can get him to take it in ketchup, this is one I have not thought to try. Mostly, if I can not get them to take their medication in fruit juices, fig newtons have worked well. But whatever you can think of that Dimounds might take the medicine please feel free to try.
