Pet's info: Dog | Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier | Female | spayed | 2 years and 7 months old | 38 lbs
Hello- My husband and I are expecting our first child any day. I would like our 2.5 year old Wheaten Terrier to stay with my inlays for the first week when we bring the baby home; To give us time to adjust to our new little human and then introduce our dog once we have a little bit of a routine down. Our dog periodically stays with my in-laws, anytime we're out of town. She is very familiar with them and enjoys her time over there. Some people are telling me this is a bad idea.

Hello. Actually, this is an excellent idea. If Mayzee has stayed with your in-laws before, this would be perfect. You will need time to rest & caring for a curious dog wondering about all the new fuss may be a bit much right now. Congratulations on your new baby & thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
