Hello. My cat has a cut on her nose. She’s an indoor cat so she wouldn’t have gotten into a fight. I adopted her a week ago from a shelter and this just showed up yesterday. Could it be she scratched herself on something? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 1 year and 4 months old | 5 lbs

It is definitely possible that she cut herself on something. It almost appears that she may have a rub sore on her nose from rubbing her nose against something. It does not look infected so I would keep an eye on this and if it worsens, take Masha in to be seen by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate treatment recommendations can be made.
