My dog had hip surgery. Is her incision infected? What should I do?

Hi! My dog Honey recently got a fedheadoral economy (not sure how to spell it ) . Her hip bone was out of place so they shaved her bone down into place . Anyways it’s the second day since her surgery & idk if it’s getting infected and what should I do .):

It is hard to tell from the picture - heat, redness, discharge , smell and pus would be the red flags most concerning. A small bit of swelling and blood spots is not uncommon but a post surgery recheck to monitor her temperature and signs of infection would be recommended for safety as infection could cause problems in the longterm

If you are concerned at any point about an infection due to signs such as bleeding, discharge or foul odor, have her evaluated by a veterinarian then. Otherwise, she will be fine. Have a good night!
