Hi! My dog Honey recently got a fedheadoral economy (not sure how to spell it ) . Her hip bone was out of place so they shaved her bone down into place . Anyways it’s the second day since her surgery & idk if it’s getting infected and what should I do .):. Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd - miniature | Female | 1 year and 10 months old | 50 lbs

It is hard to tell from the picture - heat, redness, discharge , smell and pus would be the red flags most concerning. A small bit of swelling and blood spots is not uncommon but a post surgery recheck to monitor her temperature and signs of infection would be recommended for safety as infection could cause problems in the longterm
