So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.

Hello and thank you for your questions. You mentioned blood work but do make sure her urine was checked for any abnormalities. Here are two links which may be helpful: https://www.petcoach.co/article/how-to-crate-train-your-dog/ https://www.petcoach.co/article/how-to-choose-a-wire-kennel-or-plastic-crate-for-your-dog/ Also, make sure she is getting to opportunity to potty every 3-4 hours for now. As she shows she can hold it, gradually increase the time you ask her to hold it. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
