How to stop my 5-month-old puppy's aggressive biting at home?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Perro de Presa Canario | Female | unspayed | 7 months and 5 days old | 55 lbs

I have A puppy that’s about 5 months and has an aggression problem sometimes but it’s getting to the point where her growls are getting shortened and it’s faster snapping like she wants to bite. I dont Want to give her away so is there any tips I can get to train her at home . By the way she is a Presa Canario

I strongly recommend enrolling in puppy training classes as soon as possible to set some important training and socialization skills and improve her focus and manners. She is still young enough to learn but is already developing potentially dangerous patterns which become very difficult to reverse if not caught in time. Your vets office or pet store should be able to advise on local, reputable trainers and classes
