Pet's info: Dog | Shihpoo | Male | neutered | 3 years and 10 months old | 10 lbs

hello, my dog sparky when he woke up this morning had a limp in his right arm, after the first 30 seconds into the walk he was fine and as fast as normal. i went to school and came back 5 hours later (i assume he was asleep the whole time) he didn’t come running to me and i noticed that limp again. i took him out for a walk and again 30 seconds into the walk he was moving fast as normal (even trying to chase squirrels) im worried about tomorrow morning, is there anything i can do? massage? help

Poor Sparky is in pain if he's limping. I recommend resting him for the next 48 hours. No running, jumping, or playing. Take him out to toilet on a leash, and bring him right back in when he's done. If he still appears painful after this time, then I would take him into the vet for an exam. The vet can diagnose where the pain is coming from, and can dictate a treatment plan for it. He may also benefit from some pain medications, which the vet can prescribe. Please do not give him any human pain medications, as many are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given.
