Is Convenia safe for my puppy's UTI? I'm worried about side effects.

Question

My puppy has a UTI. Confirmed by a urinalysis. My vet gave her a Convenia shot. I have anxiety so the first thing I did was research and found horror stories of this antibiotic leading to death! I’m so worried, should I be? I know searching on the internet always brings up worse case scenario. But what is your opinion? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 2 months and 4 days old | 29 lbs

This drug is used A LOT and in my 15 years as a vet I have never seen a reaction to it. Remember, all drugs have side effects and who is going to react to any certain drug?? There is no telling. I personally would not be worried about it at all. Hope this eases your mind.
