Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | 4 years and 7 months old | 21 lbs
My cat went to chase a bird outside and scraped his upper neck/back on something. It's does not seem to bother him at all. Should I put something on it or leave it alone? His fur must have got caught on something and pulled out in a clump / spot. 3 pictures are attached of spot when I push hair away, otherwise you cannot see it. I'd appreciate greatly what you think and any info as to how long this will heal, hair regrow and anything you may suggest. Thank you sincerely Bkessings

Luckily that doesn't look too bad. I would gently clean Snoops's wound with warm water and antiseptic soap. Keep the wound clean and dry, and monitor it for signs of infection. If you see redness, swelling, warmth to the touch, or pus, then it is infected and he will need to see the vet for antibiotics to treat it.
