Hi, I have a question about exposing an 8 wk old puppy to a 2 yr old rescue dog. Both came to our home from shelters, so I want to understand the risks. We also have 2 year old labs who are fully up to date on their vaccinations. Do we need to keep them all separated until the pup and the rescue have had all of their shots?

Since the labs are fully vaccinated, they are safe to be around the puppy and the rescue, but the puppy and the rescue should not be around each other until fully vaccinated. To make things easier for you, yes, I would keep them all separated until the puppy and the rescue have had all their shots.
