My puppy bit me. Could my dog have rabies? Should he be vaccinated?

As i live in India I discussed about rabies because i am worried about He tell me that in my city the rabies virus not live for more Is it True ? Because 3 months ago my 2 months old puppy minor bite during playing with him And still am alive Am worried about the Rabies Can i take anti Rabies Vaccine it is necessary or not Thanku

Your question is a human medical question, which we are not qualified to answer. You need to check with your human doctor about taking the rabies vaccines. In terms of your dog, if he had rabies, he would have been dead by now if he had it three months ago when he bit you.

    In India there is always a risk that your pup has rabies. Unfortunately, there is no way to test for rabies in a live dog, so they are considered positive for rabies unless proven otherwise. Considering the bite penetrated the surface of your skin, it's advised that you go to your physician as soon as possible for a consultation.
